Mark Hamill Hinted Luke Skywalker Turns To The Dark Side in Force Awakens!

A video has surfaced that could hint Luke Skywalker is evil in STAR WARS: The Force Awakens. Up to this point, Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker has been left out of the advertising (posters, trailers) for Episode 7 of the series, for a reason (according to director J.J. Abrams). It’s been rumoured that the reason for his absence in the promos for the movie is because there will be a great reveal that Luke Skywalker will have embraced the Dark Side and be evil!

Luke Skywalker Turns To The Dark Side

An old episode of Dinner For Five (2005) that brought filmmakers together to chat cinema, shows that Mark Hamill pitched the idea of a dark Luke Skywalker to George Lucas for Return Of The Jedi.

Not to mention that of the other four at the table included Kevin Smith, Stan Lee, Jason Lee and J.J. Abrams himself. Now, given that this clip is from a decade ago, and J.J. Abrams was an up & comer at the time – he hadn’t quite hit his stride of directorial success with Mission: Impossible III & Star Trek. So it’s unlikely that George Lucas had Abrams in his sight for director of Episode 7, but if it comes true that Luke has turned evil, it could be possible this video sparked an idea!

Could this mean that J.J. Abrams took a note & went with the opportunity when he was handed the director’s chair?
