Netflix is beginning production of it’s adaptation of the novels A Series Of Unfortunate Events, of which a movie was made already (in 2004 starring Jim Carrey), yet failed to launch the film franchise it hoped to. Perhaps Netflix is the perfect platform for this story to fully develop. Along with the announcement of the TV series comes news that the title role of Count Olaf will be filled by Neil Patrick Harris.
