OK, SEE YOU! KIM’S CONVENIENCE to end after fifth & final season

The TV show which began as a Soulpepper stageplay ran for a successful & well-received 5 seasons on the CBC – the future of the show & the Kim family is yet to be seen, but hopefully the show’s cancellation isn’t the end.

WHY IS KIM’S CONVENIENCE GETTING CANCELLED?

Unfortunately the widely loved Canadian sitcom KIM’S CONVENIENCE won’t be returning for a 6th season like original stated last year – creators & producers of the show are moving onto other projects, the show struggled to figure out how to salvage their production amidst the new production problems that come with Covid, scheduling problems with star Simu Liu (Jung Kim) starring in the upcoming Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

What do you think of the cancellation of KIM’S CONVENIENCE? Should the show find a second life on another platform? Should there be a KIM’S movie to finish off the story of the Kim’s family?
