Ewan McGregor found out about the standalone Star Wars movies while on Jimmy Kimmel Live

A while back, in February, we heard news that Disney was planning another Star Wars trilogy, with many of the original cast returning, but then we got wind of some news that there is a chance that those might not be the only Star Wars movies coming out… That there could be 2 others, both standalone movies, showing the origins of Han Solo &  Boba Fett (in their own movies). And a week after Ewan McGregor heard about it, he wanted in on the action stating:

“I think it’s a good idea,” McGregor told MTV News (referring to the idea of an Obi-Wan standalone movie), adding: “The only bit that I could get away with doing is after the last one I made, Episode III, before Alec Guinness, there’s that period where he’s in the desert. That might be my window, there, to tell that story. I don’t know what he did in the desert. We could make up some stuff.”

What do you guys think, should there be a Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone movie? Is it worth making an entire movie out of it? Also, what do you think of Star Wars Episode 7?
