New ‘Dawn Of Planet Of The Apes’ looks familiar

So here’s the newest Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes poster, and I have a few things to say about it…

First off, it’s basically the same as this Transformers: Age Of Extinction poster that came out a couple weeks ago:

The same shape, concept and everything…

The next thing is that it looks like the first poster for the series reboot Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, but it actually looks like they’re going backwards.

In the reboot (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes)’s poster, the apes are on the beach with the Golden Gate Bridge far behind them, but in new movie (Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes)’s poster, the apes are in the water with the bridge behind them…

Does this mean that this new movie is (perhaps metaphorically) moving backwards? What do you think of the posters? What about the series?
