Blade Runner sequel gets a screenwriter – Michael Green

off world news(Source Off-World-News.com)

It was announced today that Ridley Scott is in talks with Michael Green for him to write the script for the long awaited sequel to Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford.

There is no confirmation whether the movie will be a sequel or a prequel to the original Blade Runner, but Ridley Scott (who will direct the film) said to The Wrap:  “it will be set some years after the conclusion of the influential first film.” Also, Scott has stated that he would love for Harrison Ford to return to reprise the role. Harrison-Ford-in-Blade-Ru-006

And why wouldn’t he? I mean, if Ford is willing to reprise his roles in both Indiana Jones & Star Wars, then why not Blade Runner? Wouldn’t that be awesome?
