Nia Vardalos, John Corbett and the whole Portokalos Greek family return in the first trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2! The first trailer shows Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian (John Corbett) haven’t changed much since the first MBFGW (2002), and their family hasn’t either!

Now the happy couple that was married in the first film, have a daughter whose deciding where to go to college, while Ian & Toula try to find time together, Toula’s parents discover they legally weren’t married all those years ago. So this time, it’s the parents job to have a Big Fat Greek Wedding!

Gold Circle Entertainment and HBO present My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, produced by Playtone & written by the Academy Award nominee & star herself Nia Vardalos. Alongside her, all the original cast return to play her family and friends! To add onto that – Alex Wolff, Michael Constantine,  Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin, Elena Kampouris, John Stamos, Rita Wilson, Ian Gomez and Joey Fatone join the cast!

Although this will serve as a direct sequel/follow-up to the original 2002 hit, Nia Vandalos starred in a short-lived CBS comedy series titled “My Big Fat Greek Life” in 2003 which featured most of the original characters in a difference plot-line…

Universal Pictures will distribute the comedic sequel domestically and internationally March 25, 2016.
