CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM Season 11 has officially started filming & director Bob Weide just broke the news on his instagram with this post teasing “Spoiler Alert”; jokingly listing the cameraman as Sir Patrick Stewart – a fitting trio to bring the long running fan favourite tv show back for it’s 11th season. Larry David, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Richard Lewis are all returning for the newest season – the first season of Curb  to be filmed during the Coivd 19 era. We’ve already seen the effectthe global pandemic has had on Hollywood & the industry, let’s see how it will influence not only the production but the storyline.

How will Covid 19 affect Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11?

Well, the worldwide pandemic couldn’t stop Larry David from making more of his award winning show. There’s no word yet if Curb Your Enthusiasm’s season 11 will address & include the Covid 19 pandemic or not into it’s storyline. The show itself is meant to serve as the semi-ficitonal (yet including real people playing comical versions of themselves) look at the life & arguments of Larry David (c0-creator of Seinfeld) who is always getting himself into awkward situations in & out of the movie/TV business.

The last season eerily ended with images of Purell going up in flames as Larry David’s coffee shop burned down & subsequently burned down the next door coffee shop Mocha Joe – which Larry spitefully created his shop to rival because Joe was rude to him. 

Larry David is a germaphobe & in the show one of the things that adds to the fire that burns down his coffee shop is a shelf of Purell Hand Sanitizer in the stock room & a dispenser at every single table… Which were all nailed down – because he didn’t want to keep fixing the wobbly legs.

Fans online have started was Curb Your Enthusiasm’s season 10 finale some sort of eery warning – that living spitefully will destroy you in the end? Something to think about. Although there’s no time for it, the first image of the upcoming season is such a great thing to get fans excited for the return of their favourite larger than life man named Larry.

When can we expect the next season?

Well, as this season is just beginning filming there’s no word yet when this season will air on HBO but before the end of 2021 for certain. The show is notoriously a 10 episode a season & very much sporadic/improvised show. This coming season will be the 11th season but the 21st year of the shows run. The show debuted in October 2000 then had a 6 year break between seasons 8 & 9 then another 3 years until season 10. The worldwide pandemic probably had an influence in how to continue the show given that season 11 had plenty of time to write during the beginning of lockdown.
