In the latest Fantastic Four trailer, the shots of the team traveling into another dimension have been changed from red to green. Compared the first trailer for the reboot, some post-production changes can be noticed – most obviously the difference of coloring in the landscape of the other dimension that subsequently provides the Fantastic Four with their powers.
The drastic difference in color is either simply an artistic change (the red looks too much like lava anyways) or the other dimension they travel to is actually The Negative Zone! This is a possible connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Captain America: Civil War! Our best guess would be that this other dimension is actually The Negative Zone – an alternate dimension in which Reed Richards discovers (just like in the trailer) and (during the Civil War in the comics) uses along with Tony Stark/Iron Man to banish superheroes that won’t sign the Superhuman Registration Act.
Could this mean that there is a set up for some connection between Fox’s Fantastic Four & Disney/Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War or even a crossover in Phase Four?
