The Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul (focusing on sleezy lawyer Saul Goodman) was originally set to be a prequel to Breaking Bad but now, they’re saying it could take place before during and even after the events of meth kingpin Walter White a.k.a. Heisenberg.

My guess a week ago, since it was said that the show was screen-tested for producers and they renewed it for a second season AND shooting for the first season had been extended (probably for re-shoots) AND the release of the first season had also been delayed, my assumption was they were making big changes to the story.

And, I think what happened was they found a story-line that spans more than Breaking Bad‘s so they’re going with it.
