Right about the same time you decided that you weren’t scared of the movie Sinister anymore, the studio decided to put Sinister 2 into production.

The follow-up to Sinister will begin filming this summer and is set for a 2015 release. The same screenwriters are returning for the sequel (Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill).

Blumhouse Production has recruited indie newcomer Ciaran Foy from Ireland to direct the sequel, which will most likely have a brand new cast.

There are no plot details as of yet, and no casting news either.
