According to ScreenRant, the U.K. version of Amazing Spider-Man 2 (that came out already), contains a post-credit scene that is more of an advertisement for the upcoming X-Men movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
Not very often do the studios do this. Let me take a step back: Spider-Man is currently owned by Sony, and all the X-Men are currently owned by 20th Century Fox. Now, that means that these two franchises will most likely never cross, much like the fact that Spider-Man and The Avengers both live in New York, but since they’re owned by different studios, we have to pretend that they just live on complete opposite sides of New York and never see each other.
Back to my point: when Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theatres in just about 2 weeks (on May 2nd), stay for the post-credit scene because there will be a X-Men: DoFP teaser.
But, this isn’t the first time the X-Men have encountered Spidey:
Any thoughts on a crossover between Spider-Man & the X-Men? Who would they be fighting? What do you think of the teaser in the post-credits of Amazing Spider-Man 2?
