The series Baller$ will be a half-hour comedy on HBO produced by Mark Wahlberg, Hiram Garcia, Evan Reilly, Danny Garcia and Dwayne Johnson. Peter Berg will direct the series which is based on “Entourage” Executive Producer Stephen Levinson.
Baller$will star Johnson as Spencer Strasmore, a retired athlete and Omar Benson Miller as Charles who is a former athlete who is optimistically looking for what’s next in his career.

The series will also feature Denzel Washington’s son, John David, taking on the role of the highly competitive sports star Ricky, and comedian Rob Corddry as Joe, a financial advisor who’s willing to go out of his way just to fit in in the world of the pro athletes.
