Alright, so here are the latest couple of posters for “The World’s End”:

And here are the character posters, it took me a while to figure out what the headings meant, but I’m guessing they are references to the 12 bars they attempt to drink from, but some of the names aren’t quite right.
Here’s the first poster we saw for “The World’s End”, it shows the bar names:

So the first character poster (with Simon Pegg), has a heading that is on the list of the bars (in the poster above).
But Nick Frost’s character’s poster says “The King’s Arms”, but the poster above (with the bar names) lists one called “The King’s Head”

Martin Freeman’s poster says “The Trusty Servant”, and that matches with a name above.

If you check the above poster (with the bar names), there isn’t one called “The Pickled Newt”…

Nor is there one called “The Lion Heart”…

Same with “The Intrepid Fox”… Not a bar listed on the poster.

So… Each character poster displays a title that could be a bar, or that character’s nickname. 3/6 of them don’t match the original list of bars, 1/6 matches except for one word, and 2/6 match their names to the bar names…

I guess the question becomes what do the names mean? Are they directly related to the bars? Or are they witty nicknames given to each character, for reasons we don’t understand yet?
