Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming film “Crimson Peak” will start filming in July 2014 in Toronto, Ontario.

So far, the film is set to star Emma Stone, Charlie Hunman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jessica Chastain.

Guillermo Del Toro told Deadline.com:

“[It’s] a very set-oriented, classical but at the same time modern take on the ghost story. It will allow me to play with the conventions of the genre I know and love, and at the same time subvert the old rules.”

Del Toro just finished Pacific Rim (with Charlie Hunman) and is currently in the process of re-writing most of the Crimson Peak script with the intention to start filming next July.
