“Only God Forgives” comes out July 19th, 2013.

Here’s the plot: Julian (Ryan Gosling), a drug-smuggler thriving in Bangkok’s criminal underworld, sees his life get even more complicated when his mother compels him to find and kill whoever is responsible for his brother’s recent death.

Does anyone else find it weird that Gosling has done 3 movies now (“Drive”, “The Place Beyond the Pines”, and now “Only God Forgives”), where he plays this socially awkward, but somehow super talented (at 1 thing) guy, who just about never talks, and kills people randomly? It started with Drive

I thought Gosling was supposed to be this “dream guy” for all the girls, but he’s been cranking out artsy-pyscho movies lately (not including Gangster Squad).
