The franchise started with Jason Statham as bad*ss “Transporter” Frank Martin and now, it has Chris Vance carrying on the torch on television.

Now, if you’d watch the trailer for season 1 below, you will understand why this show could use a “renewal”, maybe just a change of stations is what it needs.

It has potential, and I want to see it continue.

The first season of the show has already aired in Germany, Canada, France and a couple other countries, so naturally, TNT was smart to grab it for the U.S. market. The French-Canadian studio behind the show (Atlantique Productions) is getting ready to shoot the second season so that TNT can allow Americans to watch as well. Although they are filming the second season already, the first season will re-air on TNT just for Americans.

For the second season, “Strike Back” and “X-Files” showrunner Frank Spotnitz has been recruited to “run the show”, which will attract American audiences.

Are you a fan of the show? What about the originals with Jason Statham? Which is the better Frank Martin?
