The “Carrie” remake gets an intense trailer

A couple months ago, we saw the first posters for the 2013 remake of “Carrie” starring Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) and Julianne Moore (The Big Lebowski).Carrie-Fan-Poster p-carrie-posterPHATV50uQDkmEB_1_m carrie-poster-moore-full

This one is pretty funny, but it’s fan edited:_1356126985

And then we got a teaser trailer:

Carrie

And then an official trailer, that’s much more interesting and explanatory:

At the end of the trailer, there’s a telephone number with the wording: “Call Carrie” above it, if you feel the need to call the number, it’s pretty entertaining I’ve got to say, so if you want, give it a try!

And if you want more to look at, here are some fan made posters that are pretty good:

That trailer and those posters look fantastic, I can’t wait to see what they will do with this story and today’s movie technology.

What about you guys, what do you think? Is this story worth retelling for a third time? More importantly, is this 2nd remake worth seeing? Plus, as a bonus question: Is Chloe Grace Moretz the right choice for Carrie (because in real life, she wouldn’t be considered a loser/outsider)?
