April Fools in the media 2013

Ok, so I’ll be the first to admit, this year, I fell for one too many pranks, that I really should have seen through…

There were only three that really got me, but I’m going to share some of the better crafted ones that came out today.

The 3 that got me:

1) George Takei being in the next Star Wars

George Takei posted on his Facebook at about 1 am that JJ Abrams asked him to be a new character in his Star Wars reboot entitled Star Wars Galactic Empire… and I believed him.

George Takei

2) Pineapple Express 2

Yea I fell for it… And I was kinda excited about it, until I saw Danny McBride using a baseball bat, instead of a gun, and Jonah Hill pretending to be Woody Harrelson…

3) Batman being in The Avengers 2

Okay, so this one is a bit harder to explain me falling for, because as I look back it’s so obvious it’s a prank… Anyway, read the Moviepilot article here:

http://moviepilot.com/stories/908404-batman-joined-the-avengers-while-you-were-sleeping

and tell me what you think.

And finally, some of the better gags that came out across the internet that are worth watching, because they’re pretty convincing, and also ridiculous at the same time:

Google Nose:

This one is entitled: “Youtube is ready to pick a winner”… .watch it all the way through

Gmail Blue

And finally Westjet‘s kicker for remaining friendly with your pets:

All worth the watch I think!

Happy April Fools everyone!

What was the best prank you saw today? Did you get fooled by one of these or any others? Which one of the above was the most convincing?
